Cynde Bost has lived in the Burbank area all of her life. In the 1940s her family moved into Burbank for the Lockheed migration! The family lived on Buena Vista, Walt Disney built his Studio on this street in 1940 after the 1937 release of Snow White. In 1952 he named the Studio “Buena Vista Distribution”, for the newly released animated Peter Pan Film. Buena Vista means “good view” in Spanish. Cynde grew up on Brighton Street, a block away from Buena Vista. She attended Benjamin Franklin Elementary. The school is now gone, but Burbank Fire Station 113 sits where the school once was. She went to Luther Burbank Junior High School and Burbank High School where she graduated in 1979, her father graduated from Burbank High in 1957, her daughters in 2011 and 2012 and her son in 2016 Her mother graduated from John Burroughs High school in 1959. Her family is not solely Bulldogs, she has Burroughs Indians in her family too!! Cynde went on to Los Angeles Valley College where she received her Associate Degree in Liberal Studies. After that she went on to California State University of Northridge where she majored in both Spanish and Consumer Science.
