Work Experience
1985 – 1998
Dan started work at the age of 5! Ok it wasn’t quite a full time role, but Dan spent time in his grandfather's business from the age of 5 developing an understanding of how business works and how to develop business relationships; skills which continue to be essential today.
2001 – 2006
DTZ Debenham Tie Lueng. Working in the Bristol office, Dan joined DTZ’s graduate scheme and gained various experience before qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 2003. With the majority of time spent working within office and industrial agency, Dan worked with some of the UK’s largest property owners and developers. He also proved strong business development skills attracting many new clients himself.
2006 – 2009
Parrys Commercial. Dan teamed up with university friend Tom Parry to develop Parrys Commercial. During his time with Parrys, they expanded to a team of five and relocated from Monmouth to Newport. Dan was responsible for office and industrial agency and development and built a substantial client base of national and local landlords and developers within the local area.

Other Interests
Football
Having played Welsh League football when younger, Dan recently coached under 19’s Welsh League Football with Newport Civil Service for two seasons but has had to put his coaching on hold at present.
Rugby
A passionate Welshman, Dan has endured much abuse throughout his career about the state of Welsh Rugby – particularly when he worked in Bristol. However, with the success of the Welsh team in recent years and the decline of the English team, it's pay back time!
Charity
In 2009, Dan teamed up with 3 friends to raise money for Cancer Research. The team were set a challenge to purchase a car for £100 or less with Tax and MOT and drive it from Lands End to John o’ Groats! Finding the car was not easy, but they eventually discovered a 1974 Volvo for £100! The trip proved to be both eventful and brilliant fun and raised over £2,000. The team are currently deciding on their next adventure!
Travel
As a keen explorer Dan has travelled far and wide including New Zealand, Brazil (including the Amazon Rain forest camping for 3 nights!) and Cambodia (enduring a bus crash!) and feels that these experiences help to ensure a more balanced approach to daily life.
