Dan Grimes is a member of CBRE’s Institutional Properties Group in Washington, D.C., where he specializes in office and life science dispositions, recapitalizations and capital placement on behalf of institutional clients. Early in his career Dan had the unique opportunity to participate in complex, multi-billion-dollar financial transactions through his work in the Corporate Investments Group at Bank of America, where he helped guide the reduction of the bank’s debt and foreign currency exposure through strategic balance sheet hedges. This experience helped shape the foundation for the innovative and analytical approach Dan employs to effectively advise on real estate investments. Dan lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife, Sophia, and his son, Jordan, and is a proud alumnus of the 1981, 2016 & 2018 National Champions, Clemson University!
