Daniel Lisser joined the New York office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) in April 2016. Mr. Lisser is responsible for securing commercial debt and equity financing for an array of property types including multifamily, office and industrial, retail, seniors housing and hospitality. He is well connected with national, regional and local funding sources including, but not limited to, commercial banks, CMBS lenders, life insurance companies, agency lenders (E.g. Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac), private and public funds and hard money lenders.
Seasoned senior real estate finance executive with a proven track record of success over a twenty-four year career. Has been involved in all aspects of the commercial real estate finance industry, including the origination, underwriting, structuring, placement, closing and disposition of over $5 Billion in commercial debt transactions under various structures, including permanent, bridge, equity, mezzanine and construction loans of $1M to $250M. Capital sources have included life companies, commercial banks, CMBS lenders, mezzanine and opportunity funds. Property types financed have included office, retail, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, self- storage and manufactured housing. Demonstrated ability to profitably build, expand and oversee mortgage banking and lending operations.
Significant experience in loan workouts, distressed real estate and the marketing and pricing of performing and non-performing commercial mortgage loans.
