Bio
Danny York serves as the President of Franklin Street Capital Advisors (FSCA). Mr. York oversees the division's business development efforts as well as develops and maintains all debt and equity relationships. FSCA works with clients to develop, optimize and implement plans that enable them to achieve more, retain more and profit more by taking a proactive and knowledgeable approach to arranging debt and equity for income-producing real estate investments. In the last five years as COO of Franklin Street, York has helped the firm build four offices throughout the Southeast - including one in Atlanta where he currently lives. He also has overseen more than $500 million in annual transactions nationwide. Under Mr. York’s direction, Franklin Street has experienced over 600 percent revenue growth and has been named a Best Place to Work two years in a row. Along with managing the company’s explosive growth, Mr. York also continues to direct all of Franklin Street’s recruitment activities and is in charge of maintaining its collaborative culture from which it was founded. Mr. York began his career in Atlanta with Marcus and Millichap Capital as a Debt Analyst in 2001. He later left the area to help a California-based bank grow their nationwide multifamily lending platform, where he was the top-producing East Coast Account Executive both years with the company. He moved back to Marcus and Millichap Capital to oversee three markets in Florida before founding Franklin Street in 2006. Heavily involved with the industry, he is a member of NAIOP, a commercial real estate development association, International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and Urban Land Institute (ULI). He was the first recipient of Franklin Street’s Development Award in 2009 and was recently accepted as one of only 33 participants in ULI Atlanta’s Center for Leadership, a selective program for emerging leaders in the real estate and land use industries. In the community, Mr. York and Franklin Street are active supporters of Habitat for Humanity and regularly donate time at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Mr. York is also a contributor to international nonprofit Very Special Arts. Mr. York received his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in Applied Economics.
