From the first day Darrell joined the Dallas office, he has more than exceeded expectations. His award-winning performance overseeing many successful deals both on the tenant and landlord side has allowed him to succeed quickly. His career highlights for tenant representation include Chipotle, Sprouts Farmers Market, Total Wine, Mi Cocina/Taco Diner, Blockbuster, Bombay/Bombay Kids, Omaha Steaks, Whataburger, Potbelly Sandwich Works, Red Robin Restaurants, Bravo Development Inc. (Brio Tuscan Grille and Bravo! Cucina Italiana), 7-Eleven, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Shoe Pavilion, PGA Superstores and Fed Ex Kinko's. He has worked on project leasing for retail projects such as The Arbors on Preston Road, The Crossing, Preston Village, Granite Park, Lennox Center, IBP-Retail, The Village at Eldorado, Pinnacle Pointe, Village of the Parkway and Waxahachie Town Center.
In 2001, Darrell was awarded the "Top Retail Leasing Broker of the Year" from the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors. In 1998, The Dallas Business Journal named him a "Top 30 Under 30 Young Entrepreneur." While with UCR he was named a "Top 10 Producer" every year since 1999 and a Dallas Top Producer from 2005 – 2007.
Darrel joined CBRE in 2015 through the merger with UCR. Prior to joining UCR in 1995, Darrell received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin. A native Dallasite, Darrell enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and and fishing in east Texas.
