Dave has been working in the real estate industry since graduating with a BS Degree in Construction Management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1988. During the first 14 years while working for large general contractors in three states, Dave built and managed over 30 construction projects totaling over $200 million in value. The following eight years Dave was a leader in urban infill real estate development; in the cities of Camarillo, Oxnard, and Ventura, whereas his firm received approvals for five projects totaling 120 residential units. Dave also represented his development firm as the buying Real Estate Broker and conducted over 100 property acquisition due diligence investigations which led to the purchase, property management, leasing, and real estate development of six properties in Ventura County which included retail, commercial, industrial, residential, and agricultural land, all totaling over $10 million in purchase value. Dave is also a small farmer and lives on a 51 acre avocado ranch on the east side of Camarillo. Dave's experience with Ventura County agricultural began with his first high school summer job working for the established orchard farm management company, Ag Land Services in Somis. Dave's family has had an ownership interest in Ag Land Services since 1975, which has provided Dave with good general knowledge of the agricultural industry and relationships with many agricultural experts and farmers in Ventura County.
