Having built a professional reputation in the industry for himself for the past 20 years, David Bergeron, a Vice President and Sales Representative at Colliers International, is a trusted real estate advisor for clients across the GTA East. His well-balanced knowledge of tenant and landlord requirements as it relates to leasing, acquisition and disposition ensures each one of his clients can expect a personalized approach and understanding of their real estate requirements, no matter how big or small.
David started his real estate career at Colliers 19 years ago, then moving on to a 15-year long career with GWL culminating as a Senior Director of Asset Management, managing the office and industrial leasing teams, managing the leasing of 13,000,000 SF of industrial space, and running a quickly growing retail portfolio. Following his career at GWL, David went on to become the Managing Director of the Cushman and Wakefield Toronto West office where he managed 42 entrepreneurial sales representatives and focused on strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the market share.
Now back to his roots in sales, David works with various industrial teams to ensure the best solutions for all of his clients. Being a team player is in David’s roots, and he has shown this in both professional and personal sides of his life. Having always played in team sports (from hockey to rugby (both with the Toronto Renegades and at Western University, as well as training with the national Canadian team) to football), David exemplifies both the notion of being above average and working with a team-oriented attitude. David’s success comes from his love of building relationships with his clients, learning their stories and helping influence positive change by ensuring all of his clients walk away from the transaction feeling like a winner.
