Bio
David Cravedi joined The Ezra Company as Vice President in February 1992. In 1985, he opened and managed an office for Long & Foster Commercial, where he remained until it merged with another Washington firm. David graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1971 with a B.A. Degree, Phi Beta Kappa. In 1975, he received his M.B.A. from the university with an emphasis in real estate finance. During the past twenty-five years, David's broad-based experience has made him one of the region's leading tenant brokers. This experience has included transactions with structures involving straight lease, joint venture, sale lease-back and build-to-suit for local as well as major national firms. David has completed numerous leases involving both office and flex space with government contractors such as EER Systems, Inc. (72,000 square feet in Greenbelt) and SFA Datacomm Inc. (26,000 square feet in Frederick). Both transactions involved early renegotiations with major concessions in rental rates as well as early reductions of space. During the past two years, David has represented hi-tech tenants such as ACECOMM's 40,000 square foot relocation in Gaithersburg, Telogy Network's 40,000 square foot relocation to Germantown, DRS Electronic Systems' renegotiation as well as Hekimian Laboratories' 70,000 renegotiation in Rockville. Most recently David represented Westat in an acquisition of a three building 128,000 square foot complex (Twelve Oaks) located at 1400-1550 Research Boulevard in Rockville, Maryland. His experience in representing prestigious tenants in the suburban Maryland marketplace is second to none. Additionally, David has extensive experience outside the area, having represented TCI East, the largest cable company in the United States, on various transactions including a 55,000 square foot building acquisition in Hartford, Connecticut. David has represented Peak Technologies Group, Inc, headquartered in Columbia, Maryland, on a 50,000 square foot corporate headquarters relocation in Columbia as well as other requirements in Chicago, Atlanta, New Jersey and Massachusetts.
