David DePree has nearly twenty years of executive level experience in the commercial, industrial and residential real estate industry. His broad range of experience includes real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development and repositioning, asset management, property management, leasing and marketing, financing and loan workouts. David has been involved in over $1.5 billion in office and industrial buildings, shopping centers, telecom/technology facilities and multi-family residential properties.
Prior to co-founding Briggs Capital Real Estate, LLC, David was Director of Asset Management for Cathartes Investments, a Bostonbased real estate development firm. He was responsible for a $500 million portfolio of commercial, industrial and residential properties. He was involved in the acquisition, financing, repositioning and disposition of the portfolio, delivering on average 40% un-leveraged and 69% leveraged rates of returns to its investors. Clients included AEW Capital Management, Mountain Funding, Geometry Group, Mossbacher Properties, Fleet Bank, KeyBank, Guarantee Federal Bank, GMAC, CS First Boston, and several other financial institutions and high net worth individuals.

Team Leader at RECOLL Management, where he oversaw the repositioning and sale of over $200,000,000 in real estate for the FDIC.
Developer for Picerne Properties, where he oversaw the redevelopment, management and leasing of over 500,000 square feet of shopping centers.
Commercial and industrial real estate broker for Peter Elliot, LLC, where he managed several teams responsible for the marketing and leasing of over 1,000,000 square feet of commercial and industrial property.
David is a licensed real estate broker and also received his captain’s license from the United States Coast Guard. He is a member of the Wilbur School Renovation Committee and Post Office Square Revitalization Committee in Sharon, Massachusetts, and a volunteer for the Neponset River Watershed Association and Moose Hill Wildlife Audubon Society.
