Bio
David is a Partner and an Executive Vice President at The Retail Connection. Over his 17-year career in the commercial real estate industry, David is recognized as a national leader in retail tenant representation and strategic advisory. Fazio predominantly focuses his tenant representation business consulting several best-in-class clients such as Nordstrom Rack, PetSmart, Life Time Fitness, Cost Plus World Market, Party City, Lowe’s, and Top Golf.
The Retail Connection’s representation of Bed Bath & Beyond highlights Fazio’s collaborative national advisory work, which has led to negotiating over 325 transactions across 12 states. In addition, David and the TRC team also led Bed Bath & Beyond’s strategic rollout internationally throughout Mexico.
Fazio also leads the local/ regional expansion for a number of well-known national retailers, including Carters, Famous Footwear, Visionworks, Dave & Busters, and David’s Bridal.
In addition to his core client responsibilities, David is an active National Tenant Council Chair for the Chainlinks Retail Advisors Network, partnering with numerous Chainlinks affiliate network offices across the country. Fazio is also an active servant to the community through his ongoing work with The Real Estate Council [TREC], serving as a Board Member, leading the retail leasing team for the Dallas Catalyst Project, and participation in TREC’s Mentorship Program.
In 2019, Fazio was recognized by Chain Store Age as a National Top 10 Under 40 recipient, and David’s transactions have been nominated several times for DBJ/DCEO’s Best Real Estate Deals.
Fazio earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX.
