David Fitzgerald is Managing Director in Savills Northern Virginia/Suburban Washington DC office. David is responsible for representing tenants in the areas of strategy and transaction management, lease negotiation, project management, portfolio optimization, and budget forecasting. As a dedicated tenant representation specialist, David uses his analytical skills and takes a personal interest in each client’s business. These attributes allow David to thoroughly understand the direction and goals of his client before taking strategic action. Prior to joining Savills, David held positions in asset management and consulting with leading financial services institutions including Merrill Lynch, New York Life, and J.P. Morgan. David brings more than a decade of experience in portfolio management, financial planning, customer relations, and service. During his career in financial services that spans over a decade, David earned his Series 7, Series 66, state insurance licenses, as well as the prestigious CIMA designation. As a student-athlete at Ohio University, David was a member of the university’s hockey team. David also continues to devote time as a volunteer with the United Way while also providing mentorship and coaching to youth hockey players in the area.
