Bio
With a charming but no-nonsense approach, the second G in AG&G is one of the most highly rated all-rounders in the licensed leisure profession.
London is his main operating area and he has been involved in the sale of many of the capital’s best-known pubs, as well as undertaking rent reviews and valuations. He works on more off-market than open market transactions.
He is on the president’s panel of arbitrators and independent experts and a member of the arbitration panel. As an expert witness, he has been instrumental in creating significant case law affecting the licensed leisure industry, including Luminar Leisure vs Apostole.
David was previously a director at a highly-regarded national licensed and leisure specialist, where he worked for more than a decade and gained extensive experience in rent reviews, agency, valuation and consultancy.
After finishing college in 1986, he was elected a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and joined the Valuation Office in Bangor. He then spent almost three years in the brewing estates sector for John Smiths and Grand Metropolitan Estates.
David’s outside interests range from car mechanics and DIY to golf, fly-fishing and skiing.
