David began his real estate career 30 years ago fix and flipping houses, well before this work was made fashionable by HGTV. He then transitioned into commercial real estate investment, pioneering the redevelopment of the Highlands, LoHi and Berkeley Park neighborhoods, and serving as a driving force in the renaissance of these iconic areas. In 2006 David transitioned into residential brokerage and has spent the greater part of two decades successfully guiding buyers and sellers through one of the most significant financial investments of their lives. David cares deeply about his clients, and will do anything to ensure they enjoy a seamless and stress-free real estate experience. He is just as passionate about serving his clients today as he was the first day on the job.
David is equally skilled in working with first-time home buyer, high-net-worth multi-generational families, and real estate investors. He takes great pride in successfully protecting the financial interests of his clients, treating each transaction as if it were his own. David is from a family that’s deeply rooted in real estate law, and he too brings a legal-minded approach to each transaction, ensuring that his clients are safely guided throughout. He represents clients across the entire front range, actively managing transactions from Boulder to Castle Rock, and everywhere in between. He has proudly served on the Jefferson Park Land Use Committee, was appointed by the mayor’s office to help guide the revitalization of the Tennyson Art District’s, and has led development projects in Berkeley Park, Sloan’s Lake, Villa Park, and Wheat Ridge’s 38th Ave. Entertainment District.
David is a Colorado native who is fueled by outdoor adventures. Prior to becoming a real estate professional, David was President and co-owner of Ross Reels USA; a fly-fishing reel manufacturer based in Montrose, CO. Prior to this, he also worked as a whitewater raft guide and fly-fishing guide. David thrives on endurance sports, and is both an Ironman finisher and a Leadman, having completed every event in the Leadville Race Series in one season. These include the Leadville 100-mile mountain bike race and the Leadville 100-mile trail running race. David also has a passion for upland bird dogs, and successfully campaigned one of his Pointers to a National Field Trial Championship. Trail running, mountain biking and summiting peaks fuel his soul, and in the winter months you’ll find him chasing his pups around the country in pursuit of upland gamebirds.
