Bio
David Hoffman has over 35 years of experience in the New York City commercial real estate business and has negotiated millions of square feet of leases representing both landlords and tenants. As a tenant representative, Mr. Hoffman has worked with financial services firms, law firms, non-profits and many other businesses. A key characteristic of Mr. Hoffman’s tenant rep practice is the depth and strength of the relationships he establishes with his clients leading frequently to repeat assignments and referrals. Mr. Hoffman is well-known in New York City as an experienced landlord’s agent, having represented a wide variety of property owners including institutions, families and real estate funds. His expertise as an account executive, overseeing every aspect of office building operations, includes preparing and adhering to annual budgets, developing and executing marketing plans, negotiating leases of all sizes, customized reporting, creating tenant retention programs and management of building personnel. Another essential component of his duties as a landlord’s agent includes developing trusting relationships with existing tenants leading to high rates of tenant retention. Outside New York City, Mr. Hoffman has negotiated several Fairfield County, CT leases including some of the largest recent leases in Greenwich, CT. Mr. Hoffman began his career in the commercial real estate business in 1984 at Cross & Brown Company. He joined Cushman & Wakefield (formerly Colliers ABR/Cassidy Turley/DTZ) in 1988.
