Since 1983 David Losk has been leasing, selling and managing commercial real estate in the Marin and Sonoma County areas. Specializing in office, warehouse and retail buildings Mr. Losk offers extensive experience in the north bay commercial real estate industry, primarily in multi-tenant and single user buildings.
Raised locally, David attended school in the San Rafael area of Marin County, graduating from Terra Linda High School in 1976. After obtaining an Associate of Arts degree from the College of Marin, he went on to graduate from Chico State University in 1980 with a degree in Business Administration. For the next three years Mr. Losk worked in advertising for the Sacramento Bee newspaper while obtaining his real estate salespersons license. In 1983 David joined Losk and Company Real Estate, a commercial real estate company formed by his father and brother in 1980. After his father's death in 1989 David joined forces with his brother Ronald Losk and successfully operated Losk and Company Real Estate through 2002.
In 2003 David formed Losk Commercial Real Estate Inc. and moved the company to 100 Galli Drive in Novato where the it has operated since. In 2009 Mr. Losk affiliated with North Bay Commercial Real Estate and then transferred that affiliation to North Bay Property Advisors. At this time, Losk Commercial Real Estate became solely a commercial property management company with over 650,000 square feet in managed properties. All leasing and sales activities are now performed through North Bay Property Advisors-Novato which offers extensive marketing opportunities for its clients and customers.
David is actively involved with the Novato and San Rafael Chambers of Commerce, the Marin Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors as well as the National Association of Realtors. A former member of the Petaluma Elks Lodge and the Ignacio Rotary Club, Mr. Losk has continued to be involved in the local community and charitable organizations.
