David Maplesden believes that going the extra mile is not enough, that you need to go the extra two miles for your clients to get the results they want in this tough market for buyers and sellers to navigate. His many years in the business tell him sellers and buyers want old fashioned service, combined with modern technology and the latest upgrades possible! They also want full team service that only comes with skilled partners to give sellers and buyers more service and specialization. He is licensed in Maryland and Washington D.C. He specializes in southern Montgomery County (especially Takoma Park & Silver Spring), northern Prince Georges County (especially Adelphi, Hyattsville, Mount Rainier and Riverdale Park) and Washington D.C. David sells both residential and small commercial real estate. David is a full time realtor. David works with Team Member and Buyer Specialist, Elliot Barber, to form The Maplesden Group. Together they sold 44 properties in 2017. David has been a real estate agent since 1979. He has a degree in Business Studies from Brighton, United Kingdom and was awarded the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. David is a Graduate of Realtors Institute (GRI) – a nationally recognized realtor mark of achievement and experience. David has also earned the Senior Housing Specialist (SHS) designation. He also holds the Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) designation. David is a member of Long & Foster’s Founder’s Club and Gold Team. In addition, David is a member of the Great Capitol Area Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtor's, and the Maryland Association of Realtors. For 16 years David has volunteered for the Takoma Park Meals on Wheels Group; which delivers hot meals to elderly and disabled people. He is also a supporter of Joe's Movement Emporium of Mount Rainier - an Arts/Dance/Community Group.
