Bio
David is President of the Multifamily division of Cedar Communities. Cedar Multifamily identifies properties to acquire which meet our criteria for investment. The firm deploys its deep financial analysis, construction and property management expertise to add value to each property. This is achieved by making significant renovations within the living units, beautifying the grounds, performing an in-depth market analysis on rental rates and ultimately rebranding the property within the local community. His prior experience includes 25 years in corporate finance, commodities and asset management with Merrill Lynch, Jade Special Strategy, and Agile Opportunity Fund. David’s expertise and work has been in advising, structuring financings and acting as principal investor for public and private companies. He founded and managed two hedge funds doing structured debt financings, with over 125 transactions totaling more than $150 million.
David is a graduate from University of Maryland, College Park with a B.A. degree in Speech and Communications, and also holds a real estate sales license.
