David am proud to be a realtor and have been a yearly multimillion producer over my 9 years in real estate. Raised on a farm in Nebraska, David then went to the University of Wyoming where he met his lovely wife, Glo. David have 3 wonderful daughters and 11 grandchildren. David received my B.S. and M.S. degrees in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming.
David then spent 22 years in higher education administration first being with the University of Wisconsin-River Falls where my last position was Assistant to Assistant Chancellor for Business and Finance. Following that we moved to Powell, Glo’s hometown where David was Dean of Administrative Services/CFO for Northwest College for 10 years. David then spent 18 years in banking with First National Bank and Trust in Powell, being on the Senior Management Team and the Board of Directors.
While at the bank David served as President of the Powell Valley Economic Development Alliance for 18 years helping strengthen business in our community and the area and was co-author and major presenter for Powell’s successful bid to become an All-America City in 1994. The Small Business Administration awarded me “Small Business Champion and Advocate of the Year in 2008”.
David then retired from the bank in April 2009 to work full time with my wife Glo who has over 31 years of real estate experience (and who is a CRS, GRI and e-PRO). Glo started The Real Estate Connection in 1996, and we then sold the business to Holly and Andy Griffin with Holly now being a truly excellent responsible broker for the business.
David have been involved in numerous local, state and national organizations including the Friends of Park County History, Founder of Heart Mountain, Wyoming Foundation, Willard H. Moyer Foundation, Wyoming Community College Commission, Wyoming Steering Committee for Business Development, Wyoming State Parks and Cultural Resources Commission, Wyoming Economic Development Association, Wyoming Humanities Council, USS Wyoming SSBN542 Committee, Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund Board, Western Governors Association Initiative, National Federation of State Humanities Councils to name a few.
Among my recognitions include being Powell Chamber Builder of the Year, Powell Citizen of the Year, the Wyoming Preservation Award and being inducted into the Wyoming Business Hall of Fame in 2016.
