In January 2021, David Schwartz became the newest member of the Rose Commercial Real Estate team, joining the firm as an Associate responsible for sales and leasing of all property types. He will maintain a broad focus to include office, industrial, retail and land transactions. David brings more than 40 years’ experience in real estate and will utilize his expertise to acquire new commercial listings, conduct investment property searches and manage landlord/tenant negotiations. He will also play an integral part in all aspects of sales and leasing agreements from start to finish.
Prior to joining the firm, David spent nearly four decades in the furniture industry all the while buying and selling commercial and residential real estate. One notable project involved the purchase and conversion of a 25,000 square foot building into a flourishing retail strip center and warehouse with eight tenants in the heart of Vineland. An entrepreneur who has started or been a part of various small business, he has been an active part of the professional economic and development industry in South Jersey, serving on the zoning boards for both Margate and Vineland.
David is a South Jersey native, growing up in the Vineland area and a long-time resident of Margate. After years of enjoyment at the Jersey Shore, he and his wife recently moved to Cherry Hill to be closer to family. David has a strong commitment to the community and his faith, holding key leadership roles over the years and supporting organizations of all kinds. He is a past Vice President of Sons of Jacob synagogue in Vineland and in 1997, he founded Young Israel of Margate, serving as the President and now as Chairman of the Board. He also was a board member of The Hebrew Academy of Atlantic County where his children attended school. Since moving to Camden County, he and his wife have joined the Chabad of Cherry Hill yet they have maintained their home in Margate to enjoy time when not hard at work.
