David Wasserman, Principal, is involved in identifying development opportunities and directing the leasing and pre-development activities of all projects the company pursues. Mr. Wasserman is one of the leading proponents of smart development in the United States. His vision and expertise at identifying new urban infill development opportunities that benefit communities is a result of his more than 20 years of real estate investment experience. As part of the company's efforts to expand and complement Wasserman's existing asset portfolio, Mr. Wasserman has proven adept at co-leading the organization's diversification and serves as the liaison between the firm and joint venture partners. Among the current partnerships in which he is involved are some of the nation's largest retail and residential entities. These groups include Forest City Enterprises, May Department Stores Company, Federated Department Stores and JPI Apartment Communities. Mr. Wasserman holds a J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law and an A.B. degree from Columbia University; he is a member of the New York Bar.
