David Wesner serves as a VP of Development for The Annex Group, heading up the Denver, CO office. He primarily focuses on site selection, project feasibility, and land entitlement, while also overseeing a successful permitting and closing process. Through developing high quality affordable, workforce, and market-rate multifamily housing, he is expanding and maintaining The Annex Group’s efforts in the Central and Western US. With The Annex Group, David has worked as a Development Associate and Development Manager, as well as a Development Analyst for another affordable multifamily developer. He is passionate about urban vibrancy, housing affordability, good design, finding creative financing structures, and forming various partnerships, all beneficial to ensuring successful developments. He has over 5 years of LIHTC-specific experience, in both the 4% and 9% spaces. Education: Bachelor of Science in Policy Analysis, Minor in Urban Planning and Community Development, Certificate of Business – Indiana University Bloomington and a Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate Development – University of Indianapolis
