Bio
She is well-know and respected in the Manhattan real estate world as a smart, thorough and honest broker who makes sure to get the best deal possible for her loyal clients. Her great experience runs the gamut - acting as a tenant representative for office and retail spaces - as well, she is one of the few NYC agents experienc ed in the arcane world of commercial office and retail condos and coops. Moreover, she is an expert - in finding the elusive live/work properties and unique residential lofts.
However, the most striking thing about Deborah is her knowledge of New York City – especially the areas below 59th Street; Chelsea, Tribeca, Hudson Square, Flatiron, West Village, Greenwich Village, Union Square, etc. Most recently Deborah closed on a lease for a retail space in Tribeca for a gallerist. She often works with members of the artist community having sold or leased commercial condos/coops to galleries, artists, designers, and musicians. Another recent sale was a residential condo in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood to a well-known artist.
Deborah has a diverse background having worked for years in the private school world as an International Student advisor and ESL specialist. Her ESL career began as an instructor with an organization dedicated to helping refugees adapt to life in the US while teaching English. Like a typical NYC transplant - originally from upstate New York (real upstate!) - she has dabbled in acting, dance, and singing. Her other interests include cooking, reading. movies, and yoga. Before settling in NYC, Deborah traveled extensively and lived for a few years in Europe where at one time she spoke respectable French. She has picked grapes in France and oranges in Israel. In New York, she is committed to the Innocence Project and City Meals on Wheels.
