Bio
Mr. Shubert supports the comprehensive commercial real estate verticals (banks, corporations, broker, owner, vendors, attorneys, etc.) to sculpt and produce real estate solutions. He empowers clients to reach their goals and objectives with his comprehensive commercial real estate marketing, data & analytics platform and complete sales/ leasing solutions. Personally, he has almost 20 years of commercial real estate experience with a focus on investments and acquisitions, strategic consulting, as well as research/due diligence and valuation work. In addition, he served as a commercial property inspector, regularly assessing and inspecting CMBS and Fannie and Freddie assets in all property types. From 30 story office properties, to 1.4 MSF warehouse and distribution centers, hospitality and resort facilities, and large regional retail power centers, He has been on 100's of institutional grade roof tops, and reviewed as many leases and rent rolls. Additionally, the firm serviced and managed other CMBS work, which included physical due diligence, special servicing/assessment, valuation and asset modeling, and risk mitigation and assessment. Prior to that work, he was brought on to manage the research efforts of a real estate investment and advisory company in Chicago. The $500 million platform targeted multifamily and retail assets with certain “urban infill transit oriented” criteria. He coordinated the investment process and corporate advisory services. He delivered clear, concise, and actionable information including strategic consulting, research and valuation work, discounted cash-flow modeling, tactical “hard” data analysis, and more. His career in commercial real estate started in Boston, when he aligned with Property & Portfolio Research (now Costar Strategy). He began his research work as a market analyst, and worked with the Industrial strategists to create and drive the firms Industrial research. He was eventually promoted to running the Client Services team before Costar purchased the firm.
