Derek Pedersen specializes in representing companies in the pursuit of corporate facilities and commercial real estate planning. As a member of the Savills Seattle office since 2017, Derek has advised companies throughout the Seattle metropolitan area and throughout the United States. Both his local and national market insight lend a helping hand when companies approach their pursuits and allows them to leverage knowledge of their current standing in the market.
Although Derek specializes in representing TAMI tenants and early-stage startups, his advisory services span across industries including financial services, professional services and nonprofit associations. His expertise also covers almost any transaction type including acquisitions, dispositions, relocations, renewals, restructures, expansions, leasing, subleasing and build-to-suits. By providing in depth market research, financial forecasting and workplace strategy, Derek is able to provide his clients with innovative solutions and flexible agreements.
Derek is also currently the Seattle lead for TechOfficeSpaces.com, the only source for office space news and advice geared towards the TAMI industries. Prior to joining Savills, Derek spent a year at Kidder Mathews as a market research analyst, where he learned the ins and outs of the industry.
