Derik, a lifelong resident of Stuart, FL, was born and raised in the area. He completed his education at the University of South Florida and Florida Atlantic University, earning a BA in Marketing and Management in Business Administration. In 2006, Derik began his real estate career in Florida as a licensed professional. The following year, he received the esteemed GRI Designation from the Graduate Real Estate Institute. In 2010, Prudential Florida Realty recognized his expertise as a Fine Home Specialist, and in 2011, he became a designated Short Sale Foreclosure Resource Agent. Derik's father, Dean Baumgartner, is a seasoned Home Sales professional and has been his business partner at Berkshire Hathaway Florida Realty since 1977. Together, they have accumulated over 130 years of experience in selling Real Estate on the Treasure Coast. Since joining forces in 2006, Derik and his father have consistently ranked among the top 2% of realtors within Berkshire Hathaway Florida Realty, making them highly successful agents.
