Derrick began by turning around underperforming businesses and brought this expertise to the management of capital on behalf of investors invested in real estate. Throughout his career, he has advised more than $1 billion of real estate and developed strategies to create value across diverse business lines. He uses this expertise to direct the daily operations and performance of Vie’s portfolio of assets and businesses, where he leads the implementation of the Vie branded approach to value creation. Prior to joining Vie Management, Derrick was a Founder and Principal of Inveniam, LLC, a multifamily private equity fund. Prior to launching Inveniam, Derrick was with McKinsey where he worked on growth, asset management, and acquisition strategies for McKinsey’s diversified client base.
