Dhaval Taylor is a Broker with the Sohi Group specializing in Hospitality. Previously he was an Associate at the National Hospitality Advisors Group of Marcus and Millichap. Primary focuses include assisting in the acquisitions, dispositions, and valuations of hospitality properties. He graduated Dean’s List from Michigan State University with a degree in Hospitality Business & focus in Real Estate Investment in 2020. Dhaval was involved in organizations such as: Hospitality Association, Wealth Management Association, Real Estate Investment Club, and Student Investment Association; which has allowed him to develop a diverse understanding of core investing principles.
Dhaval was raised in the hospitality industry, literally. Growing up with parents who were owner operators themselves, he was fortunate enough to see firsthand how hotels & motels were operated. Daily responsibilities/unique chores included taking care of guests, managing the front desk at a young age, assisting in housekeeping, satisfying guest complaints, and even laying down tile, painting rooms, etc. Prior to joining the NHG team he had several roles in commercial real estate, including property management and multifamily operations assistant. Graduating during one of the worst times to be in the hospitality industry, Dhaval had accepted a position at DR Capital Management, a multifamily investment company, leading a team in acquisitions and underwriting value-add deals from duplexes to 100+ units.
