Bio
Diane Saatchi's ability to listen and to understand her clients' specific needs are the key reasons for her outstanding success in Hamptons real estate over more than twenty years. Diane provides unparalleled service and results that secure her place among the top echelon of Hamptons brokers. Diane grew up in Queens and earned her undergraduate degree from Columbia University. She worked in the mental health field for eighteen years, during which she served as director of therapeutic services at New York Hospital, maintained her own private practice, and taught at Columbia, NYU and SUNY. Diane's life and career took a turn in 1987 when she and her husband settled in East Hampton after years of vacationing there. The couple's endeavors in real estate investment and home renovation inspired Diane to enter the business outright. She went to work at ET Dayton, where she soon became a partner. When the company merged with Halstead Property in 1994, Diane was instrumental in the use of creative advertising, PR, and technology to grow Dayton-Halstead's three-person office into a three-office, 60-licensee operation with over $133 million in sales. Diane became a full-time broker again in 2005 after she sold her company to NRT, and was soon one of the top agents at the Corcoran Group. Today at Saunders & Associates she heads the Saatchi Team, composed of an assistant and several talented associates. Diane is also highly sought after by numerous publications as a quotable source on the East End real estate market. Committed both to her clients and her community, Diane enjoys the personal and professional relationships she has developed over the years. She is an active community presence and has served in several positions on the local real estate board, including that of grievance committee chairperson. Diane and her husband love East Hampton living, yet also enjoy weekday getaways to their apartment in Manhattan when time allows.
