Having lived and worked in Ireland, the United States and Australia Donal has learned skills to find win-win solutions for his clients in all three continents. Donal created and led a sales and service team that empowered hundreds of families and investors to buy homes or apartment buildings. A home or investment property is a long-term investment and has the potential to financially set up a family for life. It is a joy to watch these folks grow into their new homes, improve their homes and build up a nest egg for the future.
He has been a trusted partner for some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world who were trying to identify where they should focus their research resources to find cures for diseases like Alzheimer’s disease. It can take 10 years and millions of dollars for new drugs to get approved and become available to the public. But the reward is that thousands or millions of folks will get cured or feel significantly better and can enjoy life again.
He has donated thousands of hours to an NGO that teaches meditation. The mission for the NGO is to introduce folks to a meditation practice for the 21st century. Seeing hundreds of students learning to meditate and having immediate and long-term positive impacts on their lives. Reducing their stress level, getting a new perspective on life's challenges, and making a real difference in their communities. He helped this NGO identify, buy, renovate and restructure three retreat centers in the US and Australia.
His time working as a veterinarian in Ireland has been one of the most special times of his life. He served clients ranging from small family farms in the west of Ireland to larger commercial feedlots and pig farms. He co-led an Irish program to establish the prevalence of Aujeszky’s disease in the national pig population because Ireland needed an Aujeszky’s Disease control program to maintain Ireland’s pork export industry.
