After extensive experience as a broker in the New Jersey market, Donald Eisen joined C&W in 1980 as Manager of C&W’s Industrial Transaction Services Group. In 1984 he began serving as New Jersey Branch Manager. Additionally, from 1994-2000, Mr. Eisen served as the Managing Director for the New York Area, based in C&W’s World Headquarters in Manhattan, with responsibility for the New Jersey; Stamford, Connecticut; and Long Island offices. From 1999–2000, Mr. Eisen concurrently served as the executive liaison to C&W’s industrial brokers on both a national and global level.
In January 2002, Mr. Eisen stepped down as New Jersey’s Branch Manager and now serves in a business development, brokerage and advisory capacity specializing in redevelopment property, including sites which are environmentally impacted (Brownfields). He is currently marketing several of these sites throughout New Jersey and the northeast.
In both 1986 and 1992, Mr. Eisen was selected from 45 Branch Managers across the nation as C&W’s “Branch Manager of the Year”. In 1996 he was named one of “The Top 100 Business People in New Jersey” by Business News of New Jersey. In 1998, Mr. Eisen was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by NAIOP and was also the recipient of the 2001 Humanitarian Award from the National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ).
Mr. Eisen is a former member of the Board of NJ NAIOP. He has chaired Redeveloping Brownfields 101 Seminar at the National Brownfields Conference and served as a member of the first pilot program in the nation known as STAMP (Site Technical Assistance for Municipal Properties). Mr. Eisen is a recognized authority and speaker within the New Jersey real estate community.
