Doris Weir, a seasoned Commercial Real Estate Broker/Consultant joined Commercial Associates of Illinois to provide leasing, brokerage and consulting services to clients in the Midwest markets.
Ms. Weir has over twenty years of progressive real estate experience including the leasing of more than two million square feet of retail space as Vice President of Leasing for a large Chicago area shopping center management and leasing company. In this position, she managed the leasing of more than twenty eight malls and strip centers in the Midwest market with a team of four leasing representatives.
She is knowledgeable in real estate finance and construction with an outstanding record in sales and leasing. She also has a comprehensive background in cold calling, telephone prospecting, problem solving with customers and exceptional closing ability. The scope of her shopping center experience also includes land development, strip center development, management and site selection for retailers.
Ms. Weir’s professional affiliations include membership in the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Rockford Area Realtors (RAR). She is also a registered Illinois Real Estate Broker. Her formal education is in Business Administration, University of Shopping Centers and Continuing Real Estate Courses.
