Doug Badia is the managing principal at Pure Properties Group, LLC. He has over 20 years experience and is highly skilled in all facets of real estate including: corporate operations, complex asset transactions, investor relations, acquisition, development, leasing, property management, marketing, sales, finance, and dispositions. He has a successful track record with land development and redevelopment opportunities as well as a historical ability of increasing profits and market shares, improving partner-investor relations and establishing national brand recognition by building high performance teams focused on exceeding the expectations of partners, investors, customers and employees. Throughout his career, he has leased nearly 5 million square feet of various real estate assets and within the last few years, Doug has sold a wide variety of properties throughout the United States. These transactions were in excess of $1 billion.
Before founding Pure Properties Group, Doug was the Executive Vice President at O&S Holdings, responsible for the day to day business operations of O&S Holdings portfolio which included over 80 assets and businesses throughout the United States. He effectively integrated the asset management, leasing, development, sales and marketing, legal, and finance departments.
Before joining O&S in 2005, Doug was the West Coast Director of Property Management for Federal Realty Investment Trust. He oversaw assets including: The 3rd Street Promenade (Santa Monica), Post Street (San Francisco), Historic Old Town (Los Gatos), The Promenade (Escondido), The Gas Lamp District (San Diego), Historical Old Town (Pasadena), The Boulevard (Hollywood), Mill Avenue (Tempe) and Historical East Houston Street (San Antonio), as well as the jewel of Federal Realty’s west coast portfolio, Santana Row - a 625,000 square foot development featuring over 70 retail shops, more than two dozen restaurants, a boutique hotel and movie theatre. In addition to the dynamic retail and restaurant collection, Santana Row offers 622 residential units and 65,000 square feet of office space. From the development stage through the first several years of operation, Doug effectively managed this unique asset to stabilization, achieving measurable and sustainable results in all areas.
Doug has also held management positions with General Growth and The Wilder Companies in Tampa, FL where he gained the experience and expertise necessary to become a well-respected leader in the real estate industry.
