Discovering Utah on ski trips in his youth, he selected to attend Weber State University graduating with a Business Management degree. Doug continued to add to his formal business training by becoming a licensed agent then broker and by obtaining many designations. Doug specialized in resort real estate and new construction working at his in-laws business Powder Mountain and with Scott’s Home Construction pioneering the Remuda Golf Community. He went on to open an office In Eden and become the principal broker of RE/MAX Community Valley in Ogden Doug had dreamed of owning a restaurant and purchased Harley & Buck’s Grill and Operated it in the heart of Ogden for six years providing fine dining and catering including off site events and live music. Popular as one of Ogden’s best date night fine dining locations where he would host his clients and their friends and families and their special events. Memorable weddings and holiday parties with a hands on friendly greeting from Doug and his genuine hospitality welcomes.
