Bio
Doug attended Purdue University, graduating summa cum laude in Engineering in three years. Declining admission to the Harvard Business School, he pursued a passion to work in the ministry. Upon his return to business and finance, he focused on the acquisition and financing of apartment complexes in the Northeast. In 1994, he joined NAI James E. Hanson, Inc., a New York area real estate development firm, where he acquired sale-leaseback portfolios using innovative financing based on the tenants’ credit, in addition to traditional real estate financing.
