Douglas is a fifth-generation Murrells Inlet native where he still resides. He graduated from Waccamaw High school then attended the College of Charleston. He and his wife, Mary Beth Morris, married at Belin UMC in 2016, they welcomed their first born, a girl, in July 2017. He has been an agent for six years and has been a multi-million dollar producer every year and top agent in 2015. He is a graduate of Leadership CCAR as of 2016.
