Drew Anderman is a Vice Chairman in the Debt & Structured Finance group at CBRE, where he and his team of real estate professionals specialize in raising debt and equity capital for a wide client base across all commercial real estate assets, and with a particular focus on client service. Prior to CBRE, he spent 11 years at Meridian Capital Group as a Senior Managing Director, leading the firm’s high – performing teams, originating and placing debt financing and equity joint ventures for owners and developers of commercial real estate. He previously had senior roles at Deutsche Bank, CIBC and Credit Suisse, overseeing a team of bankers that originated and structured commercial real estate loans for both individual and institutional owners across the United States. Over his 25 - year career in commercial real estate finance, Drew has emerged as one of the industry leaders and has executed on more than $90B of portfolio and single asset financings, note sales and platform capitalizations. Among his more notable achievements: assembling a $1.2B condominium, hotel and retail construction loan for Eleventh, the predecessor to what is called XI on Manhattan’s far West Side, arranging joint venture equity to acquire the air rights above Grand Central Station, a portion of which was subsequently sold to JP Morgan for their new headquarters on Park Avenue and securing $1.1B in debt (from 1 bank and 1 mezzanine lender) for one of the largest affordable housing purchases ever across 7,000+ units in multiple states.
