Ed Geist has a wealth of real estate experience to share with his clients, but equally important is the passion he has for the city of Portland and its surrounding area. A life long Oregonian, Ed attended Linfield College graduating with a double major in Business Administration and Economics. He spent 10 years as a residential appraiser in the Portland area and knows the streets and neighborhoods like the back of his hand. Ten years ago he made a smooth transition into residential real estate sales where he finds his experience as an appraiser to be invaluable.
Staying physically active is a vital part of Ed’s extracurricular activity. Through a local athletic club, he’s a member of a basketball team which competes locally, with regional and national tournaments. Basketball is a game he has played since his youth and out on the court, he continues to enjoy the competition and camaraderie with his peers. Occasionally, Ed will hit the links for a round of golf with friends. His interest in spectator sports lends itself to the collegiate level. Whether it’s baseball, basketball or football, Ed enjoys watching and keeping up with standings of teams from the Pac 10 to the Big 10.
Ed has 3 grown children. Two live and work in the Portland area, and the third resides in Bellingham, WA. All are college graduates and are presently or have been involved in athletics. His daughter coaches’ high school lacrosse, one of his sons referees high school basketball and his youngest
