Bio
Edward "Woody" Maher joined Newmark Knight Frank at its Boston office in 2015. As a vice chairman with one of the nation's most successful investment property sales groups, he specializes in the marketing and disposition of institutional real estate.
Over a career spanning more than 25 years, Mr. Maher and his team have successfully closed approximately 600 transactions involving the sale of office, industrial, retail and multifamily investment properties throughout the northeast United States with total consideration exceeding $50 billion. Prior to joining NKF, Mr. Maher was vice chairman with Cushman & Wakefield's Boston-based Capital Markets Group, the firm's #1 investment sales team globally.
A 1987 graduate with honors from College of the Holy Cross, Mr. Maher has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility and served on a variety of philanthropic boards and committees. He is currently a member of the Board of Overseers at Boston Children's Hospital and a Trustee at Derby Academy. He is also the co-founder of Champions for Children's, an annual benefit that supports Boston Children's and has become the hospital's top fundraising event. Mr. Maher resides with his son Cole and daughters Holly and Natalie in Boston, Massachusetts.
