Ed Weiss, a Vice Chairman of Cushman & Wakefield, is regarded as one of the industry’s most talented and prolific professionals. Throughout his 32-year career with C&W, Mr. Weiss has advised major corporations and property owners on a broad range of real estate matters on a regional, national and global basis. As the lead broker for some of the Tri-State Region’s most significant and complex leasing and sales transactions, Ed is frequently recognized for his accomplishments in commercial real estate. Ed’s team exclusively represents The Interpublic Group of Companies, one of the world’s largest advertising holding companies, for its various subsidiaries in Canada, Europe and the Northeastern U.S. Recently, he negotiated one of the largest transactions in Midtown Manhattan, the 564,000 sq. ft. Shearman & Sterling lease at 599 Lexington Avenue. Other significant transactions include the: 1,000,000 sq. ft. Ernst & Young headquarters at 5 Times Square; 450,000 sq. ft. McCann-Erickson headquarters at 622 Third Avenue; and sale of Westchester One, an 850,000 sq. ft. office building in White Plains, NY. Also active with landlord representation, Mr. Weiss has served as agent for major projects across the country comprising over 10 million square feet of office space.
