Eileen Vandervelde is a native New Yorker with over 20 years of corporate experience. New York City, Baltimore, and Washington DC were all stops on her way to Green Lake, WI. Three weeks after graduating from the University of Maryland, Eileen began her career in the fashion industry where she quickly adapted to the demanding and fast-paced rhythm of NYC. Working for powerhouse industry leaders such as Donna Karan, Versace, and Ermenegildo Zegna formed a foundation of professionalism & attention to detail that continues in her work today. <br><br>Eileen spent 8 years in Washington DC, and the training & mentoring she received as an Event Planner with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel was particularly impressionable. Organizing elegant parties and important political events in the nation's capital, Eileen gained invaluable experience working for clients who expected flawless service at every turn. <br><br>Relocating to the Green Lake area from the East Coast was an easy decision. Her goal of buying a home and raising a family in this quaint, Midwest community was realized in 2008, and she has never looked back. The magic of big Green Lake, the genuine kindness of her local family, neighbors, and friends has solidified her belief that this was the best life decision to date. <br><br>Eileen has been with Special Properties for 7 years and is a valued member of the team.
