Bio
Ernie Phelan was born into a farming family of four generations. He has been actively farming and ranching for over 40 years. He has experience in all aspects of agriculture including the development and farming of row crops, rice, and orchards. He has also managed livestock and ranches from Mexico as far North as Oregon.
With over 20 years of commercial and agricultural related real estate experience, Ernie is the Broker for Showcase Real Estate. He served as Director for the local Sutter-Yuba Association of Realtors and chaired the Education Committee. As Project Manager, he entitled, developed, marketed and sold residential subdivisions in Colusa and Butte Counties. He also has extensive experience assisting his clients in the completion of their 1031 deferred tax exchanges, and is a Certified Negotiation Expert. He and his company have successfully managed transactions with a combined value of more than $250 Million.
