Specialty / Expertise Mr. Page is a Principal and oversees acquisitions, brokerage and advisory services for Centre Urban Real Estate. Page holds broad expertise in strategy consulting, marketing, workouts, repositioning and brokerage. Mr. Page was President of Optimal Real Estate, Inc. which he founded in 2014. He offers Centre Urban's comprehensive services to commercial real estate occupiers, retailers, investors, developers and financial institutions. Further, Mr. Page’s extensive experience in organizational and portfolio strategy is important to help clients manage their costs, portfolio exposure, lease risk, cyclical risk, etc. Career History / Professional Recognition Prior to Optimal, Gene was a senior managing director at the Charles Dunn Company, a 95-year old brokerage, property management and asset management firm. He opened a new office for the company in north Orange County before moving to company headquarters in Los Angeles. At Charles Dunn, he worked with both investors and occupiers to lease, reposition, purchase, and sell property to support their financial and operational goals. Prior to Charles Dunn, Gene developed and co-led the worldwide Organizational Strategy practice for Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) where he helped clients such as Boeing, Disney, Capital One, Bank of America, Whirlpool and others design and implement internal real estate functions that support corporate strategy. For Universal Studios, he developed a real estate plan to support the company’s long-term strategy to compete with Disney in the Orlando resort market by developing Universal Orlando Resort including The Islands of Adventure and CityWalk Orlando. Earlier, Gene was a Director of Corporate Real Estate Consulting Services at Price Waterhouse where he worked on engagements as varied as New York’s Rockefeller Center and the bankruptcy of the Megafoods grocery chain in Arizona. Page was also previously Principal and International Director of Knight Frank Faulkner, a Los Angeles-based real estate brokerage firm, which he helped grow over 11 years throughout the world. The firm launched Mitsui Fudosan in the United States by advising on, repositioning, and leasing its first major asset in the United States – the AT&T Center in Downtown Los Angeles. Earlier in his career, he was with Cushman & Wakefield. Gene earned an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California and a B.S. from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. He is a member of AIR, a past member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and holds the SIOR designation. He has lectured all over the world. He has served on the Board of Directors of the USC Marshall Alumni Association of Orange County and is a mentor in USC’s Career Advantage Program for undergraduates in the Marshall School of Business. He is a past board member of Friendly Hills Country Club in Whittier, California.
