Fara is a Multi-Million Dollar Club Life member and currently ranks in the top 5% in the Memphis Area. Fara Captain is the Team Leader of The Captain Group at Zeitlin|Sotheby’s International Realty. In 2020, she was nominated as an Executive of the Year Honoree by the Memphis Business Journal for raising the bar in the real estate industry.
In 2019, the Chamber of Commerce listed Captain as a Young Memphian Honoree for wanting to impact change in Memphis. Fara Captain is a change-agent and a champion for the City of Memphis. Her tenacious energy and her passion to be a part of the Memphis Momentum is evident in all her work. She was featured as a leading Memphian in Faces of Memphis by Style Blueprint. In 2020, she completed her course work as an Emerging Developer through the Real Estate Diversity Initiative through Urban Land Institute.
Captain’s drive and determination to fill a much-needed gap in the Memphis real estate community was a result of personal perseverance combined with a huge thirst for knowledge. Fara already holds the following real estate related certifications and designations: CRS, ABR®, SRS, GRI, At home with Diversity, PSA & SRES and is an avid Ninja. Under Mrs. Captain’s leadership, their team is determined to give back to the Memphis community one home at a time.
Fara Captain is also the Owner of Captain and Co Builders a company working towards increasing Affordable Housing and building unique properties for her Clients.
She cares deeply for the Memphis Community, she has served various boards from the Kindred Place Board, the Women’s Foundation of Greater Memphis- Grants Committee, MAAR Governmental Affairs, Tennessee REALTORS Diversity Committee and serves as a MAAR Education Foundation Trustee.
She is a proud mom of two humans and one pup and a dedicated wife to her husband Chris
