Bio
Fred Kane joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2007 to focus on land sales in Middle Tennessee concentrating on mixed-use developments in urban and suburban locations. His areas of specialty include: site selection, land acquisition and disposition, valuation and assembling the right team for moving properties through the entitlement process.
Fred is the broker of record for the developing Century Farms in Southeast Davidson County. This 300+ acre project includes a new I-24 interchange (exit 60), an office building to house 2,000 Community Health System (CHS) jobs, a 340,000 square foot IKEA, hotels, additional office buildings, retail and multifamily uses.
Recent successfully completed assignments include site selection for the HealthSouth Hospital in Franklin, the new Rivergate Toyota dealership in Nashville, a 4-acre assemblage adjacent to First Tennessee Park, the sale of 330 single family development lots in Ladd Park, and the sale of Lockwood Glenn a mixeduse residential and commercial development in Williamson County. In addition, he has completed five institutional apartment site selection assignments in Nashville’s CBD including Element Music Row, 1505 Demonbreun and Olmstead Nashville.
Currently, Fred is working in a strategic advisor capacity on a large mixed-use development of 1,000+ acres in Middle Tennessee that has a propensity to attract institutional funding and support from local and state resources. The project includes office, retail, golf and recreation, along with single & multi-family land uses. Fred has more than $100 million in available land listings in the 14 counties that comprise Nashville’s MSA.
