Bio
Prior to Colliers, Fred focused on land and investment services in the mid Atlantic region for Marcus & Millichap. Throughout his career, Fred has served in a unique mix of public and private roles on a regional and even international basis.
In private sector, he has served as a partner with several development firms, including Rouse & Associates (precursor to Liberty Property Trust) and Hough/Loew Associates (a regional firm) where he led land acquisition and development, entitlement, building development and marketing activities. He formed his own real estate company, Upland Development, which built more than 400,000 SF of office and flex space. He also served as a land acquisition specialist for several national homebuilders, including Toll Brothers and Pulte Homes.
In the public sector, he served as a senior aide to the Governor of Pennsylvania for a variety of statewide economic development initiatives including enterprise zones, Main Street programs, and state incentives for major business locations.
Fred also served on the boards of numerous non-profits including the Great Valley Nature Center, Migrant Ministry and Safe Harbor for Women, and as a church trustee. He also consulted for the Christian Children’s Fund of Canada in Ghana, Uganda and Zambia, and for the Pennsylvania Department of Commerce on trade missions to Mexico, South Africa and China.
