Bio
Gaia is personable, meticulous, and resourceful. She loves being a realtor and thanks her good fortune every day. Since becoming a broker in '97, she has had the pleasure of helping thousands of families, investors, and empty nesters make wise real estate decisions. Buying and selling a home has become quite complex since Gaia's early days. Her priority is to take care of all the facets of her clients' transactions to protect their interests and avoid unwanted surprises.
During Gaia's 23 years as a realtor, she has found that every real estate transaction is different. As a broker, this requires a broad skillset and the ability to bring creative solutions to the table. A resolute professional, she has perfected the art of assisting clients by delivering market knowledge, integrity, and a gentle touch. Gaia is both attentive and outgoing and will go the extra mile to ensure a smooth, pleasant, and financially sound transition to the next chapter in their life.
Gaia was born in Italy but moved to France as a tween. A few years later, she left France to attend college in Sarasota, Florida, where she graduated from New College of Florida with a B.A. in International Relations and Economics. She settled in Sarasota where she worked as a realtor with Damon, her husband, for 12 years. In 2008, a job offer took them and their two kids back to France, where they lived for five years. In Provence, they managed a vacation resort and ran a vegan B&B. When the time came to move again, they did a lot of research and chose Asheville for its amazing outdoors, surrounding beauty, and eclectic lifestyle.
Gaia has two teenagers, ages 16 and 15, and thanks to them, she understands the importance of empowering families with the knowledge they need to choose a neighborhood and school district that is right for them. An animal lover and advocate, Gaia never misses the chance to walk her Labrador and Maltese around the trails in Biltmore Park, the neighborhood where she lives, works, and plays. Gaia is also a Certified Vegetarian and Vegan Nutrition Consultant, avid gardener, enthusiastic yogi, and a two-time graduate of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course. Her favorite indoor pastimes are cooking up meals with her family and being available for her budding meditation practice.
