Geoffrey West is a Senior Vice President with Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Service, specializing in commercial real estate investment sales and acquisitions, including commercial, multi-family, and specialty investment properties.
Geoffrey brings more than 25-years of experience exclusively focused on commercial real estate investment sales in the Las Vegas market. He essentially is a native Las Vegan, having lived in Las Vegas for over 46 years. He attended UNLV and graduated in 1995 with a degree in Finance.
Since 2000, Mr. West has represented clients in the sale or acquisition of over $1.5 Billion of investment properties in Southern Nevada.
Some notable transactions include: the disposition of 1.36 million square feet of office and retail properties for America Nevada Company (Greenspun Family) totaling over $250M, Barclays call center properties in Green Valley Corporate Center, Turnberry Associates owned office buildings at Town Square, and the Westin Las Vegas and Hooters/OYO Las Vegas Hotels.
Geoffrey started his commercial real estate career as Assistant Vice President in Commercial Real Estate Lending with U.S. Bank in Las Vegas in 1996. He transitioned to brokerage in 1999 at CBRE. While there, he rose to First Vice President of Capital Markets in the Private Client Group. His focus was transacting office, industrial, retail, multi-family, and mixed-use sales. Following that, West served as Senior Director of Capital Markets Investment Property Sales and Acquisitions at Cushman & Wakefield for over a decade, where his expanded property focus continued to include all commercial/multi-family property types, plus hospitality and portfolio sales.
Throughout his career, Mr. West has enjoyed working with a range of clients, from private owners, to institutional and corporate. His clients appreciate his commitment to attaining both their short-term and long-term real-estate goals by using a trusted advisor approach.
Geoffrey and his wife have two middle-school-age boys that are very active in competitive sports. When not at the office, he is likely attending their various sporting events. Geoffrey is also involved with his children’s activities, having acted as a youth sports coach for numerous years and a member of the School Organizational Team (SOT) for their previous elementary school, where his wife is a special education teacher. When not at those events, Geoffrey and his wife enjoy traveling, attending San Francisco 49ers games and Vegas Golden Knights games.
