·He has held a Virginia Real Estate license since 1972 and a Broker's license since 1976. He is the only REALTOR in Virginia to hold the ALC and CCIM designations, as well as an MBA. In 2005, he served as the President of the Virginia Chapter REALTORS Land Institute (RLI) and had previously held the same position in 1982. Additionally, in 1989, he became the President of the National RLI. His contributions to the real estate industry have been recognized with numerous awards, including being named the REALTOR of the Year by the Richmond Association of REALTORS in 2005 and the Educator of the Year by the Virginia Association of REALTORS, leading to his induction into the National Omega Tau Rho Fraternity. Between 1983 and 1990, he earned several prestigious accolades, such as "Land Broker of the Year," "Salesman of the Year," "Land REALTOR of America," and "REALTOR of the Year." He graduated from the University of Richmond in 1971 and later obtained his MBA from the College of William and Mary in 1983. Throughout his career, he has completed over 25 specialized real estate courses and demonstrated expertise in managing the acquisition, rezoning, and development of numerous residential subdivisions, mixed-use business parks, and buildings for various clients.
