Bio
George Fox is an Executive Vice President for CBRE’s Tenant Advisory Services Group in Silicon Valley. Based in Palo Alto, George and his partners focus on providing real estate advisory services to law firms and technology firms in the Bay Area and throughout the US, Europe and Asia. He joined CBRE, Inc. in 2013 and has more than 30 years of tenant representation experience, including six years as the director of tenant representation of Trammell Crow Company’s Bay Area operations and 13 years as the leader of Savills Silicon Valley office.
George regularly advises his clients on real estate matters in California and around the world. As a leader in the firm’s Occupier Services practice as well as his appointment to CBRE’s Executive Committee for their worldwide Law Firm Practice Group, George only represents users of real estate. He provides his clients with advice and expertise in structuring real estate as a marketable asset, not just an expense, to improve productivity, profitability, streamline operations, reinvigorate internal culture, and recruit and retain talent.
Since committing to only representing the interests of tenants, George has provided strategic real estate advice and real estate acquisition and disposition services to a wide variety of law firms and technology companies including Freshfields, Facebook, Align Technology, Yahoo, Avago/LSI Corporation, Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, Arnold & Porter LLP, Sidley, and Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP throughout California, the United States, Europe, and Asia.
George just celebrated his 22nd wedding anniversary to Maryann and is father to Paris (21) and Tristan (18). George thrives on being with his family and enjoys coaching his kids in football, basketball, and baseball. During his free time, he enjoys camping, off-road driving, running, snowboarding and mountain biking.
